Specialists from Turkmenistan took part in an international seminar on the construction and management of industrial parks for five Central Asian countries, which was held in the Chinese cities of Tianjin and Shenzhen from July 17 to 30.
The seminar is organized by TEDA (Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area) with the support of the Government of the People's Republic of China.
The event brought together young specialists — representatives of the construction and management sectors, as well as teachers from specialized universities from five Central Asian countries — Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The Turkmen team included 5 participants – two representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production and the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, as well as a teacher from the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction.
The seminar program included thematic discussions, presentation sessions, study tours with visits to free economic zones in Tianjin and Shenzhen, which have become some of the most important points of economic growth in China.
During the seminar, participants became familiar with advanced engineering and technical solutions used in the construction of modern industrial zones, as well as the process of designing construction projects and the features of digital control systems.
Specialists from Central Asian countries were shown examples of environmentally responsible design of industrial zones, implementation of green technologies and emission control systems. It was emphasized that the development of the industry here takes place taking into account the balance between its growth and preservation of the environment, as well as issues of environmental safety and sustainable development, to which the Chinese government pays great attention.
The architectural and urban planning organization of industrial territories, which were designed taking into account functional zoning, transport accessibility, comfort of the urban environment and architectural expressiveness, made a vivid impression on the participants. At the same time, the integration of industrial, residential and business quarters into a single urban space is expressed.
In general, the participants were clearly shown China's successful experience in developing free economic zones, which played a key role in the country's industrialization. It was thanks to their creation that China was able to accelerate industrial development, attract transnational corporations, master new technologies and increase export potential.
As Turkmen specialists noted, during the seminar they were able to examine in detail the key aspects and successful results in this area, examples of architectural and construction projects implemented using the principles of sustainable development in modern urban planning, and also significantly expand international contacts with foreign colleagues and industry experts.
At the seminar, while studying one of the most effective models of economic development in the modern world, Turkmen specialists acquired new experience, knowledge and professional skills that will be further used in solving the most important tasks of modernizing the country's architectural and construction industry, developing and implementing advanced innovative solutions.
