Recently, an awareness-raising meeting with the participation of school students was held in the assembly hall of secondary school No. 77 in Ashgabat. The event was organized jointly with the Kopetdag etrap Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the Road Traffic Supervision Service of the Police under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Since 2013, every September a month-long campaign has traditionally been held under the motto “Road safety — the peace of our life”, within the framework of which awareness-raising activities are systematically carried out.
During the meeting, the speakers emphasized the importance of strict compliance with traffic rules and the need to prevent road accidents caused by violations among young people. The students were reminded that crossing the street is only allowed at designated places — through underground and overhead pedestrian crossings.
At the end of the event participants expressed sincere gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their tireless efforts in the name of a peaceful, prosperous, and happy life of our people.
