In our country, Turkmenistan, young people are provided with ample opportunities to develop into educated and creative individuals. The foundation of these opportunities is education. Education is the first step into the future. And books are an essential tool for this future.
Books are a treasure trove of wisdom, science, and creativity. Throughout history books have played a special role in the development of humanity and cultures. In the past, we see the great love and respect for books held by our ancestors, who would exchange a camel for a book. Books enrich a person’s thinking, broaden their worldview, develop spiritual and creative abilities, and help foster feelings of patriotism and humanism. Books are a school that helps a person prepare for life’s challenges, choose the right path, and, by providing advice and guidance, develop the best qualities in a person. To increase the younger generation’s interest in books, new libraries, e-book systems, and creative centers are opening in our country, famous works of world literature are being translated into Turkmen, and book collections are being created to provide a quality education. Books are a conduit connecting us to the world of science and wisdom.
By reading books and receiving a modern education, the younger generation ensures not only their own future, but also the development and happiness of the entire country. Therefore, developing the habit of reading books and instilling a love of books in the younger generation is of particular importance for the future of our country.
