Turkmenistan has currently become one of the key centers of sustainable development, trust, and good-neighborly relations in the Central Asian region. Interstate relations with neighboring countries are being developed at a high level. Furthermore, cooperation of Turkmenistan with international and regional organizations such as the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is increasingly strengthening.
Under the initiative of our country, international-level meetings, consultations, and forums are being held. In particular, the expansion of international cooperation on saving the Aral Sea and steps taken to develop international cooperation in the transport and logistics sector are widely supported by the world community.
Turkmenistan successfully develops international relations in all areas. The foreign policy of our state, based on the principles of neutrality and friendly cooperation, plays an important role in strengthening the international authority of our country.
