The footballers of "Altyn Asyr" defeated the team "Ashgabat" with a crushing score of 5:0 in the rescheduled match of the 22nd round of the Turkmenistan Football Championship.
The capital derby, in which "Ashgabat" was the nominal home team, took place at the stadium in the Buzmeyin etrap, where "Altyn Asyr" usually plays its home matches.
Before this encounter, the rivals met three times in the current national championship. "Altyn Asyr" celebrated victory twice – 1:0 and 2:1 – and only once did "Ashgabat" succeed at home with a 3:1 win.
In the fourth head-to-head game, "Ashgabat" failed to offer worthy resistance to the 2018 AFC Cup finalist, conceding one goal in the first half and four more in the second.

Notably, in the previous match against Balkanabat's "Nebitchi," Myrat Annayev scored a double, and now he completed a hat-trick, bringing his tally in the current championship to 7 goals.
