Recently, in cooperation with the Mary city Council of Mary velayat of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the Museum of History and Local Lore of Mary velayat, an excursion-meeting was organized at the museum with the participation of teachers and students of the Mary Medical school named after S.A Nyyazov.
During the event, the museum’s staff inspector and the chairperson of the first Youth organization, Sulgun Ahmedova, as well as the museum’s scientific workers, introduced the students to the museum in detail. They spoke about the exhibition of ancient handicrafts, traditional jewelry, household items, ancient coins, and the exhibits representing domestic and desert animals that add beauty to nature. The excursion-meeting further strengthened the students’ love for our national heritage, ancient values, and rich history.
At the end of the meeting, participants expressed their deep gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for their tireless efforts in preserving our rich history and cultural heritage and passing them on to future generations.
