A solemn ceremony was held in Tashkent to honor the first laureates of the international “Heritage of the Future” award. Based on the results of the first competition, the award in the category “Fine and Applied Arts” was presented to the People’s Artist of Turkmenistan, Babasary Annamyradov.
The award, established in 2025 by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is presented to cultural figures who have made a significant contribution to the revival of traditions, the development of art, and the promotion of national spiritual heritage.
The ceremony was attended by the heads of several Central Asian states and Azerbaijan.
In a festive atmosphere, the winners were presented with a statuette, a corresponding diploma, and a cash prize.
