These days, preparations are held across the country for the large-scale and solemn celebration of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence. Among the many festive events dedicated to this important date, a special place is occupied by the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. In preparation for this event Turkmenbashi city and the Esenguly etrap Councils of the Balkan velayat of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly organised a “round-table” discussion.
The speakers spoke in detail about the significance of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, the issues that will be on its agenda, and its role in socio-political development of the country. They also noted the festive events planned in honor of the 34th anniversary of our Independence.
This significant socio-political event — the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty — is a vivid example of how our country continues to develop on the basis democratic principles. This is a true celebration of the unity and solidarity of our people.
