Thanks to the efforts of our Hero-Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, modern cultural and economic development is spreading to all corners of Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan. Whether in villages or cities, modern residential buildings, general education schools and preschool institutions, physical culture and sports facilities are being built in each of them.
The favorable environment created in our country and the modern facilities that have been built and put into operation foster a desire to learn, receive a quality education, engage in physical culture and sports, develop professionally and work hard. Thanks to these great opportunities created by the efforts of our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our country has achieved world-class results promoting a healthy lifestyle in society and attracting the population, especially the younger generation, to mass physical culture and sports. It is a proud truth that today our athletes, who carry our country’s green flag at major world and regional sports competitions, championships, and cups, are young people who have been trained at various sports schools of the capital and regions.
In our new historical era, the popularity of various sports is growing among the population, especially among young people. The number of young people involved in cycling, motor sports, football, hockey, figure skating, water sports and wrestling is growing every day. Physical culture and sports are becoming an integral part of our lives.
