The remarkable events of the International Year of Peace and Trust fill the hearts of the Turkmen people, especially the joyful youth with an endless spiritual enthusiasm. Today the wise youth policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag is being successfully continued by our Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar. As a result, the youth who are the future of our homeland — are actively participating in the large-scale reforms being implemented across the country. Youth are considered not only the future of a nation but of the entire world.
It was a source of great pride for us, the happy youth of Turkmenistan, when the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly which effectively implements the State Youth Policy became an official member of UNESCO Global Youth Community.
UNESCO Global Youth Community is a unique international platform created and run by young people. It is aimed at strengthening cooperation and interaction among youth initiatives of UNESCO and various other projects. The inclusion of six general education schools from Turkmenistan into the network of UNESCO Associated Schools, the establishment of UNESCO clubs in three higher educational institutions, and the opening of UNESCO-affiliated departments in two universities reflect the growing level of collaboration with this organization.
This year marked the 32nd anniversary of cooperation of Turkmenistan with UNESCO. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, and our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the active participation of Turkmen youth in UNESCO’s scientific, educational, and cultural initiatives gives strong momentum to the implementation of international-scale projects.
