The sweet songs flowing from the hearts of our musicians find listeners in the most diverse corners of the world. The marvellous sound of pleasant music allows the listener to express his feelings creatively, forget about sorrow and grief and feel happy. It is common for each of us tends to work and relax, while humming a favorite melody.
In the the Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state, great efforts are being made to preserve, develop and popularise the national musical art of the Turkmen people among the world community. The inclusion of the dutar making craft, dutar playing art and the art of bakhshi in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity was an event that aroused the sincere pride of our people.
The dutar is an integral part of the centuries-old musical culture of our people. No holiday of the turkmen people is without bakhshi. Playing the dutar on the most joyful day is one of the noble traditions of our people. Sweet, soul-healing sound of the dutar is a decoration of our weddings. It can charm and unite both young and old with its sound.
The creativity of our outstanding bakhshis and renowned musicians, who won a place in our hearts with their remarkable creativity and raised turkmen musical art to the highest level, continues to enjoy popularity today. The music created by the mentors is a great school for young artists and the current generation.
The modern performance of these songs by our young singers and musicians gives a new tone and a new impetus to the work of our great musicians. May our national songs forever sound in our neutral state and in the hearts of the whole world!
