STUDENTS OF THE S.A. NIYAZOV TSU ARE INTERNING IN TASHKENT

From July 6 to 17. A group of students from the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University are interning at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

To participate in this event, 1 teacher and 10 students of the Faculty of Hydro-Melioration, as well as 1 teacher and 10 students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of the Turkmen University were sent to Tashkent University.

The main purpose of the internship is to consolidate students' theoretical knowledge on practical training, mutual exchange of experience, further strengthening of friendly and fraternal relations between partner universities.

Uzbek colleagues have prepared a rich educational and cultural program for our students and teachers. Within its framework, they got acquainted with the history and modern activities of the Tashkent Institute, its contribution to the development of agriculture in the country. Guests from the students visited academic buildings, laboratories, a museum, and sports grounds of the university and were familiarized with its capabilities.

An active participant in scientific and educational events in Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Begmatov, a scientist and professor at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, and other university teachers shared their theoretical and practical experience in the field of irrigation, mechanization and engineering in agriculture with the Turkmen people.

The Turkmen representatives also visited scientific and educational institutions, agricultural and water facilities, historical and cultural monuments of Tashkent. During the visit, they got acquainted with the modern digital system of Smart Solutions System LLC for organizing training students and monitoring of its results. During the internship, Uzbek specialists spoke in detail about the equipment used in the country's water sector, smart technologies and water meters.

It should be recalled that in the period from June 25 to July 4, students of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers completed a similar internship at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.

The Uzbek group in Turkmenistan included 1 teacher and 5 students of the Faculty of Hydro-Melioration, as well as 1 teacher and 10 students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of the Institute, for whom a warm welcome at a high level and a large program of cultural and educational events were also organized.

The mutual internships of students are organized within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the two universities of friendly countries, signed in April 2018.

As representatives of the Agrarian University of Turkmenistan noted, such internships are very effective in developing friendly Turkmen-Uzbek relations, mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange of valuable experience in the field of agriculture and agricultural education.
