SPORT IS—THE KEY TO HEALTH

Morning workouts, cycling or walking in the fresh air and jogging are healthy habits that help strengthen human health. Regular visits to the gym and consistent engagement in various sports not only improve physical well-being and mental resilience but also help prevent many diseases, enhance attention and memory, and increase overall physical activity.

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the principle of a healthy lifestyle — initiated by the National Leader of Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and successfully continued by esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar — is receiving widespread support throughout the country. Today, the sports system of Turkmenistan is rapidly developing. Mass physical culture and sports gaining broad popularity. The organization of sports competitions is being improved, and new methods are being introduced for the training of masters of sport, professionals, and coaches.

Modern sports facilities, stadiums and, physical wellness complexes that meet international standards are being built and commissioned in cities and villages across the country. As a result, public interest in sports is growing, especially among young people. This plays significant role in strengthening the health of our society and fostering a generation of strong, healthy, and spiritually uplifted young people.

Today, Turkmen athletes are achieving great success in international competitions, securing high results. These accomplishments clearly reflect the effectiveness of the ongoing efforts to develop the national sports system.
