The final stage of the creative contest titled “The Turkmen alabay — our national heritage” was held at the National “Ak Bugday” museum in the city of Anew and the event was organized by the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the specialized art school of velayat in honor of the Turkmen alabay day.

The purpose of the contest was to reflect the beauty of the turkmen alabay through works of visual art and to celebrate this national holiday. Talented students of the velayat’s specialized art school took an active part in the event. Within the set timeframe, the participants presented their paintings and graphic artworks dedicated to the turkmen alabay.
The jury selected the best works and determined the winners. During the award ceremony, gifts were presented to the winners and participants by the Ahal velayat Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
