Recently, a roundtable discussion titled “My Neutral Turkmenistan — the Land of Peace and Friendship” was held at the central building of Public organizations of Turkmenistan. The event was jointly organized by the Ashgabat city Council of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the “Ashgabat” TV channel.
A roundtable was attended by a lecturer from the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov and a representative of the Buzmeyin etrap Council of the city of Ashgabat of the Youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly. They congratulated participants on the widely celebrated National Holiday of the Turkmen Alabai and proudly noted that, following the traditions of their ancestors, the Turkmen people deeply honor their national values. Alongside the famous Akhal-Teke horses, Turkmen carpets and other treasures, the loyal and courageous Turkmen alabay dogs have also gained worldwide recognition.
Speakers emphasized that today, masters working in various fields of art — painting, sculpture, ceramics, design, and jewelry — uniquely depict the image of the Turkmen alabay in their works. It was also noted that alabays, a source of pride for the Turkmen people, are used in the service of protecting the State Border.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and to the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for creating wide-ranging opportunities to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage, ancient values, and national art of the Turkmen people among the youth.
