ARKADAG — THE CITY OF YOUTH

In the era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag, are being consistently and successfully implemented under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar. In the “Year of International Peace and Trust,” Turkmenistan demonstrates new achievements in the political, economic and cultural spheres, as well as in architecture and urban planning. Across the country, modern cities and residential complexes are being built, comfortable living conditions are being created, digital technologies are being actively introduced, and regions are developing on the basis of sustainability and balance.

Constructed in one of the picturesque corners of Turkmenistan with the initiative of Hero-Arkadag, the city of Arkadag has become a symbol of the strength of the state and its vast development prospects. The architectural solutions of the new city harmoniously combine modern technologies with national traditions. The implementation of the “Smart City” concept in the construction of residential areas, social and industrial facilities reflects the country’s commitment to innovative development and respect for cultural heritage. The recognition of Arkadag as the “City of Youth” is a source of pride and inspiration for Turkmen youth.

Special attention in Arkadag is given to the fields of education and culture. The city is home to educational institutions named after prominent figures - Pedagogical Secondary Vocational School named after Berdimuhamet Annayev, Medical secondary vocational school named after Sachly Dursunova, Specialized School of Arts named after Sahy Jepbarov, and Children's School of Arts named after Shukur Bakhshi. To strengthen practical skills and broaden opportunities for young people, various institutions are operating, including the Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, kindergartens, secondary schools, medical facilities, sports complexes, the Library named after Dovletmammed Azady, the Historical and Local Lore Museum, the State Equestrian Circus named after Gorogly, and the State Drama Theater named after Aman Gummammedov. These institutions form a comprehensive infrastructure for the harmonious development of the younger generation.

The modern appearance of Arkadag reflects the large-scale transformations of the era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, embodied in the new cities, residential areas and social facilities that are being built and put into operation throughout the country.
