Our country has created all conditions for the younger generation to receive a decent education and upbringing, and to spend their free time in a useful way. Children can take part in sports, music, literary and artistic creation and develop their abilities. On warm summer days, fun activities, excursions, competitions and concerts are organised for children who rest in modern children's health centers located in various regions of the country.
Recently, the Turkmenbashi City Council of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, together with the city’s Department of Culture, organised one of such events. It was held with the participation of children resting in the “Arzuw” health center, located in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone.
At a well-organised event, the children watched performances by heroes of turkmen folk tales prepared by the “Ýartygulak” folk puppet theatre. With the help of puppet heroes, the theatre masters presented children with fascinating ideas about kindness and humanism, friendship and loyalty, honesty and patriotism. The play, based on turkmen folk tales, made a pleasant impression on the young spectators.
During the event, games, songs and dances were organized among children. A quiz on famous turkmen and foreign fairy tales was organised with the participation of children. Children who answered the questions correctly were awarded with memorable gifts from the Turkmenbashi City Council of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
